Bonjour! We’re the Frenchie students from the Mini 29s. This soap opera started as an assignment from Ms. Kalogeropoulou, designed to help us practice a range of French tenses and grammar, including the conditionnel, idiomatic and reflexive verbs, passé composé, reciprocal verbs, and health and technology vocabulary.
We originally had two projects to choose from: the soap opera or the murder mystery folder. Instead of picking one, we decided to do both and combined them into a murder mystery soap opera. Our starting idea was to create a big, chaotic family and build a very dramatic story around them. Everything snowballed from there: once we came up with the name Gaspard for one of our characters, all the lore grew from him.
We really hope you enjoy the drama, the plot twists, and (of course) the spectacular wigs!
